—By accessing and using TalkBook, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement.
—If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.
—We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time, and such modifications shall be effective immediately upon posting.

2.Description of Service

—TalkBook is an AI-powered conversational platform that allows users to engage in voice conversations with AI representations of book authors.
—The service includes voice interaction, chat history, and personalized recommendations.
—We provide both free and premium subscription tiers with varying features and usage limits.
—The service is designed for educational and entertainment purposes only.

3.User Accounts and Registration

—You must register for an account to access certain features of the service.
—You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
—You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account.
—You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.
—You must be at least 13 years old to use this service.

4.Acceptable Use Policy

—You agree to use the service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these terms.
—You may not use the service to transmit harmful, offensive, or inappropriate content.
—You may not attempt to gain unauthorized access to the service or other users' accounts.
—You may not use the service for commercial purposes without our written consent.
—You may not interfere with or disrupt the service or servers connected to the service.

5.AI and Content Generation

—TalkBook uses artificial intelligence to generate responses and content.
—AI-generated content is for entertainment and educational purposes only.
—We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of AI-generated content.
—You should not rely on AI-generated content for professional, legal, or medical advice.
—We are not responsible for any decisions made based on AI-generated content.

6.Privacy and Data Usage

—Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy for details on data collection and usage.
—We may collect and process your voice data, chat history, and usage patterns to improve our services.
—You can control your privacy settings through the app's privacy controls.
—We implement appropriate security measures to protect your personal information.

7.Subscription and Payment

—TalkBook offers both free and premium subscription plans.
—Premium subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis.
—You can cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings.
—Refunds are provided in accordance with our refund policy.
—We reserve the right to change subscription prices with notice.

8.Free Trial Minutes

—New accounts receive 10 free voice-call minutes as a free trial. Text conversations are free and do not use minutes.
—Free trial minutes are valid for 30 days from the date your account is created. Any trial minutes not used within those 30 days expire automatically and are removed from your balance.
—Expired trial minutes are not carried over and have no cash value.
—The free trial does not require a payment method and never converts into a paid plan automatically. No payment is taken when trial minutes expire.

9.Refund Policy

—At TalkBook AI, we want you to have the best experience. Please read how our refund policy works.
—All payments are generally non-refundable. Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel before the renewal date.
—Canceling stops future charges but doesn't refund past payments.
—We offer free trials so you can explore before subscribing. Once charged, payments are final.
—Refunds may apply for duplicate or accidental payments, verified technical issues, or where required by law.
—If you subscribed through Apple App Store or Google Play, refunds must be requested directly from them.
—To request a refund, contact us at support@talkbook.ai within 7 days of payment with your account email and transaction details.

10.Intellectual Property

—TalkBook and its content are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
—You retain ownership of content you create, but grant us license to use it for service improvement.
—You may not copy, modify, or distribute our content without permission.
—AI-generated content may be subject to additional intellectual property considerations.
—We respect the intellectual property rights of book authors and publishers.

11.Limitation of Liability

—TalkBook is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.
—We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
—Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the service.
—We are not responsible for any content generated by AI or third parties.
—You use the service at your own risk.

12.Termination

—We may terminate or suspend your account at any time for violations of these terms.
—You may terminate your account at any time through your account settings.
—Upon termination, your access to the service will cease immediately.
—We may retain certain data as required by law or for legitimate business purposes.
—Provisions of these terms that should survive termination will remain in effect.

13.Governing Law

—These terms are governed by the laws of Hong Kong.
—Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Hong Kong.
—If any provision is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
—These terms constitute the entire agreement between you and us.
—Our failure to enforce any right does not constitute a waiver of that right.
